Perot Systems Corporation is a worldwide provider of information technology services and business solutions to a broad range of clients. We are currently looking for a Traveling Regional Project Director to join our team on the East Coast.

***Selected candidate may be located anywhere on the east coast. This position requires 100% travel***

Job Summary:
Assists the AVP of Operations with all facets of Revenue Cycle Solutions Projects, from start-up to completion. Acts in lieu of AVP, when requested, to conduct on-site visits and provide support to Project Director, Project Managers, and clients. Functions as troubleshooter to minimize real and potential on-site problems. Ensures Perot Systems’ professional and operational standards are consistently maintained and keeps current on updates to company policies. Functions as a resource to Project Directors regarding training, current issues and regulations. Acts as a conduit for recommendations and suggestions from Project Managers. Mentors Project Managers to promote succession plan.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Coordinates with AVP to ensure company policies are consistently administered at all projects

  • Projects and monitors revenue and expenses in conjunction with AVP

  • Assists with cost containment in order to manage profit margins of projects to meet business objectives

  • Administers quarterly incentive program to assigned project team members

  • Resolves issues with operations at the project level, and implements improvements that will benefit the client as well as Perot Systems

  • Promotes a team approach, building a line of communication between the client, Perot Systems associates and Perot Systems affiliates

  • Monitors associates performance, evaluating strengths and deficiencies, and provides necessary development

  • Enforces performance standards for yearly assessments

  • Helps facilitate continuing education curriculum for Project Directors and Managers; grooms individuals to prepare them for career advancement

  • Assists Project Director(s) in the hiring of Affiliates and rate negotiation with Temporary Employment Agencies

  • Ensures that the Project Director(s) is accounting accurately for all cash with supportive documentation and recording done on a timely basis

  • Ensures that all month-end reports are correctly completed and forwarded to the RCS team by the 5th working day of each month

  • Assists with creation, updating and dissemination of reporting tools, manuals, training materials and program documentation, as required.

  • Upholds expectation of providing internal and external clients exceptional service

  • Provides on-site training for Perot Systems associates, affiliates and/or client staffing

  • Creates a motivated team that succeeds in the accomplishments of goals for all parties concerned

  • Identifies opportunities at new and existing client sites

  • Obtains and maintains current client references

  • Acts as subject matter expert for clients and project teams

  • Coordinates with outsourcing component of project, when applicable

  • Serves as a role model to the overall Perot Systems image


  • Required Skills:
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in managing hospital-based accounts receivable

  • Documented success in a position which required managing multiple healthcare receivables projects concurrently

  • Advanced demonstrable knowledge of the Revenue Cycle in an acute care setting, Third Party billing, reimbursement and follow-up methodologies

  • Superior technological skills, which should include experience in a wide variety of patient accounting, billing, financial reporting and ancillary systems used in the hospital receivables setting

  • Advanced knowledge in use of Microsoft Office suite of applications, including, but not limited to Excel, Word and Power Point


  • Minimum Educational Requirements:
  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred. Equivalent business experience in healthcare and/or business related experience required
