Senior Accountant

Were seeking a talented, successful, hands-on Senior Accountant to join a winning team in Marietta, GA.

The Accountant will be responsible for the financial record keeping of the company. The ideal candidate must be able to handle a great deal of tasks supporting and reporting directly to the Director of Finance and Operations, and actively partner with additional Leadership Team members. The ideal candidate must possess a strong work ethic, character, and ability to work in a highly confidential work environment.

For consideration you must possess the following:
Perform accounting activities which will include maintaining and reconciling general ledger accounts, and all general accounting responsibilities - A/P, A/R, Billing, Collections, Payroll (outsourced)
Collect and test data for system conversions and ongoing processes improvements
Month-End Processing
Various Monthly Reports
Maintain relationship with external Auditors and Accountants
Identify process improvements within areas of responsibility
Successful candidate will possess:
Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance
2 + years accounting experience
Experience in a service business a plus
Quick Books experience a plus
Big 4 experience a plus
Other private company experience a plus (audit and private company)
Ability to improve comprehensive policies and procedures within the assigned area
Excellent computer skills - Microsoft Office Suite
Demonstrated ability in fast paced environment
Able to work on several project simultaneously and maintain commitments
Query Tool Experience a plus
Strong analytical skills
Ability to work independently
Solid communication skills
Attention to detail
