Forensic Engineer Regional Manager

We are aggressively looking for a Forensic Engineer Regional Manager
in Atlanta, GA for our client, an Atlanta based cost and forensic engineering firm. The position is full-time salaried (W2). Job Duties:

As a Regional Manager, you will provide technical leadership, mentoring and guidance to the forensic engineering staff of Civil, Structural, Electrical, and Mechanical Engineers in your region to assure total quality of all engineering efforts. Other supervisory/management responsibilities will include carrying out responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws including interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining existing client relationships as well as new business development.

You will also be responsible for meeting divisional marketing goals, revenue projections and client expectations. This is a position for an energetic hands-on working manager where you will provide residential and commercial site investigations to determine the cause and origin of structural failures, damages or defects. Investigate and assess damages due to catastrophes such as windstorm damage, hurricanes, floods and earthquakes. Provide detailed reports outlining the cause and origin of the damages to clients. You will have client interaction on a regular basis.


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Candidates will possess a bachelors degree in Civil or Architectural Engineering, PE license is a must and have supervisory/management experience preferably managing a staff of 5+ professionals.
Must have at least 5+ years practical experience with a proven supervisory track record. Forensic field or insurance industry background and experience in commercial, institutional, healthcare, high-rise and governmental facilities is a plus. Marketing experience is also preferred. This position also requires travel as necessary for natural disasters or catastrophes such as hurricanes, earthquakes, tornadoes etc.
