Job Description:
Product Support Specialist will have the primary responsibility to provide 3rd tier support to ACS and State support personnel for the operation of the ACS Healthcare Enterprise Solution product. The individual in this position will be expected to provide information related to configuration and trouble shooting of problems that may arise in the day to day operation of the Enterprise Solution product. The Product Support Specialist will participate in a rotating on-call support team to provide the highest level of support to our clients. The product support specialist will interact with Enterprise Engineering Development team to provide input and/or feedback on Enterprise tools, product enhancements and defects. The product support specialist will be expected to work with the Enterprise Engineering teams in order to remain up to date on the features, functions and products utilized within the Enterprise Solution.
Requirements:
- 3+ years experience in a product support capacity
- Demonstrated experience integrating multiple components in support of a complex solution
- Strong trouble shooting skills at the network(tcp/ip, DNS), OS and application levels
- 3+ years of experience in Unix / Linux environment
- 3+ years experience developing scripts utilizing KShell, Bash, Perl, PHP, SQL / PLSQL, etc
- Experience installing Java based application components
- Experience installing application components such as Apache, TomCat, JBoss, Oracle and IBM WebSphere products
- Experience in the development and execution of software deployments
- Degree in Computer Sciences or equivalent experience.
