Primary Functions/Responsibilities:
The primary function of this position is to provide the highest quality customer service for the Georgia Region membership by handling calls in a professional and courteous manner. The Service Associate will answer incoming calls and will partner with the member in determining the appropriate path of care through various options such as a facility appointment with a caregiver (physician, associate provider or other), telephone consultation with a caregiver or transferring call to the appropriate recipient, such as advice nurse. Service Associates will assist callers with information regarding Kaiser Permanente facilities, providers, benefits and services.

Required Education, Experience and Training:
- High school diploma.
- One (1) to two (2) years experience in a
customer service environment.
