The Atlanta office of LBi is seeking a .Net Developer who will guide the design and implementation of software applications; participates in the planning, estimating and measurement of design and implementation activities to accomplish associated project milestones and goals.
Requirements:
Expert-level expertise with ASP.NET, XML and Web
services
Experience with large-scale applications
Expert-level competency in C#
Broad experience with .NET Framework 3.0-4.0
Experience with data access using ADO.NET, Entity Framework, or OData
Experience with SQL Server 2005/2008
Third-party controls
Demonstrable experience developing solution architecture
Strong experience with WCF, WPF/Silverlight, or WF
Expert-level experience with web technologies such as HTML5, JQuery, AtomPub, JSON, REST, OData, CSS, and CMS
Security experience with any of the following: WIF, AD, OAuth, SAML, SWT, CAS
Experience with MVC, design patterns, and modern architectural trends
Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
Familiarity with Team Foundation Server and build management
Microsoft certifications a plus
Additional Skills & Competencies:
Bachelor’s Degree in
computer Science, or equivalent work experience.
Must be a self-starter who requires minimal supervision.
Experienced in problem solving, and able to follow a methodical implementation process.
Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, ability to handle diverse situations, multiple projects and rapidly changing priorities.
Ability to communicate with clients at all levels.
Work directly with business development teams during project envisioning (e.g., proposal generation, statements of work, RFP/RFQ creation and delivery) to come up with the best solution for given requirements, with the ability to provide reasonably accurate estimates for projects.
Ability to pass relevant Microsoft certification exams.
Core Duties/Responsibilities:
Demonstrates expertise in a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures designs, develops, modifies, and implements software applications
Works with the enterprise architect to ensure technical designs adhere to enterprise standards and technical strategy in order to achieve architectural goals
Recommends alterations and enhancements to improve quality of products and/or procedures
Works closely with the QA team to assist in developing testing plans for projects
Participates in the testing process through test review and analysis, test witnessing and certification of software
Identifies and employs enterprise development best practices and patterns throughout the development life cycle
Interactive industry experience is a plus
