This is a Permanent Direct Hire Position
What are we looking for ? This position encompasses all facets of mechanical design engineering. The Mechanical Design Engineer is responsible for structural design of machine components. Designs detailed mechanical drawings and complete sets of fabrication prints. Also designs robotic work cells.
The Mechanical Design Engineer is responsible for the design of pneumatic systems, including vacuum and drawing schematics. Responsibilities include the selection of materials as well as the selection and application of sensors.

Salary is commensurate with experience and willingness to travel. This position requires approximately 20% travel.
MUST HAVE:
- BS in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline is preferred.
- Experience in machining, cutting, and grinding of metal and polymers.
- 3D solid model design, preferably SolidWorks.
- Candidate should be proficient in ANSI/ASME and GD&T standards.
- Proficiency in robotic work cell design and layout.
- Experience with mechanical drive trains.
- Experience with conveyors and other material handling equipment.
- PLC programming and controls design is a plus.
