DESCRIPTION

Summary: Accountable for driving Gevity sales, marketing, client service, and organization growth and performance of assigned single or multiple geographic or industry markets regarding existing and new clients to deliver required revenues, profits, and quality market results from existing and new clients. Participates with senior management to develop and implement short- and long-term business plans and objectives to produce and measure sales, service, and related business requirements that streamline HR administration, optimize HR processes, and maximize people and profit.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Directly and through assigned colleagues, lead market organization to ensure necessary and effective use of human, physical, and financial resources required to compete in assigned market through short- and long-term business cycles.
  • Plan, design, and implement sales, client service, and related business strategies and activities required to establish, grow, and retain qualified clients and achieve established business planning and budgeting performance goals. Integrate Gevity marketing, sales, central service, and other tools and resources to optimize assigned market opportunities and performance.
  • Fulfill managerial responsibilities regarding the hiring, training, assessment, compensation, and related matters regarding assigned colleagues.
  • Fulfill Gevity ethics, business practices, reporting, and legal compliance norms through ongoing oversight of assigned colleagues and related sales, client service, and other business actions.
  • Participate with key Gevity leadership (i.e. Vice Presidents, Peers, and others) to develop and implement new and modified products, services, and other marketing, sales, and service tools that contribute to competitive and productivity improvements and best practices. Through assigned market leadership, identify competitive trends and practices and recommend actions for pro-active and leading initiatives to fulfill competitive adjustments for assigned market and other Gevity operations.

Directly, with, and through assigned colleagues, consistent communication with clients, prospects, colleagues, and external private and public organizations/persons to represent Gevity and compete within assigned market.

Internal: Business relationships with all levels of Gevity colleagues in support of Gevity business operations and competitive needs.
