Description
Responsibilities:
Responsible for assisting in the implementation, communication, and enforcement of standards across IT, working with users in the development community. Defines and documents data requirements as the foundation for database design, data extraction, analysis or cleansing. May help determine and document data mapping rules for movement of data between applications or for population of new databases. May work with application clients to populate repositories and increase the metadata inventory. Supports Sr. Data Analyst in data selection, extraction, and cleansing for corporate applications, including data warehouse and data marts. Uses modeling and data analysis tools as well as ER and dimensional modeling techniques. May also create data flow diagrams and process models. Responsible for quality control and auditing of databases to ensure accurate and appropriate use of data. Develops, supports, and propagates sound data quality practices.
