Job Description
The Customer Experience team at Sparks Grove is responsible for leading clients through the process of user-centered design and evangelizing the measurable business results this process provides. We seek a Customer Experience Architect who is solutions-oriented and can energize our clients' work with fresh ideas.
The Customer Experience Architect role is a strategic one – the ideal candidate wishes to nudge our clients beyond current practices and into exploration of new opportunities. This role serves as a knowledge expert for creative and technical staff and is relied upon to make informed, sound decisions.
Job responsibilities include:
• Lead discovery workshops with business stakeholders to define project requirements
• Perform research activities to understand clients' customers, such as touch point mapping and task analysis
• Employ user-centered design processes to create site architectures, wireframes, and prototypical user interfaces
• Collaborate with art directors, copywriters, and design technologists to ensure project solutions are strategic, targeted, engaging and show a clear understanding of the target audience
• Plan, execute, and analyze usability studies
• Document screen-level behavior for technical and quality assurance staff
• Perform competitive benchmarking
• Keep current on interface design trends and best practices
• Define metrics for project ROI analysis
• Advocate for the customer experience internally with colleagues and externally with clients
Job Location
This position is located in Atlanta, GA. Intermittent travel may be required dependent upon project needs.
Special Skills
• Bachelor's degree
• 2-5 years' experience as an information architect, user experience architect, interaction designer, or interactive producer
• Organized, self-directed, efficient and able to manage complex projects in a timely manner
• Expert conflict resolution skills, ability to build consensus
• Experience working with large-scale e-commerce Web sites
• Usability testing/research experience – planning, executing, analyzing
• Basic knowledge of interactive marketing
• Excellent oral and written communications skills – must be comfortable presenting to groups; must have the ability to write simple instructional content
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, especially Visio
• Adobe InDesign and/or Quark experience a plus
Job Duration
The position is a full-time, permanent role. Contract candidates may be considered.
