The Claims Review Specialist -Pharmacy shall possess:
Work Experience:
At least 2 years utilization/quality assurance review, as well as ICD-9-CM and CPT-4 and pharmacy coding experience as well as experience related to the specific workload of the individual task order, which may be further defined in the Task Order Statement of Work.
Experience in coding and abstracting, working knowledge of Medicaid coverage guidelines, advanced knowledge of utilization review/quality assurance procedures, ICD-9-CM, CPT-4 and NCPDP pharmacy coding.
Educational Requirements:
A Registered Pharmacy Technician (currently licensed in the respective therapies).
Additional Requirements per Task Orders.
Work Experience:
Advanced knowledge of NCPDP and other types of prescription drug claims is required.
This position can be located anywhere in the US, but requires travel.
