The Role: Administrative Assistant
You’re an energetic self-starter who will keep the business operations and activities organized, on track and moving forward. In general terms, you’re the type of person who recognizes where processes can be improved and who takes the initiative to improve them. You have exceptional communication skills, the ability to perform flawlessly and professionally in a fast-paced environment, and the grace and willingness to change direction when circumstances demand. You’ll also need to be fully knowledgeable about our client's products and services, and able to talk about them in a clear, concise engaging manner.
Responsibilities:
- Perform an extensive array of administrative tasks, including calendar management, making travel arrangements, prepare and track expense reports, and coordinate meetings and group events.
- Interface and provide high-level support to senior-level management both internally and externally.
- Assist in preparation of presentations and correspondence.
- Act as a liaison with other departments and outside agencies.
- Handle sensitive, confidential and non-routine information and facilitate communication between appropriate departments.
Requirements:
- BA/BS degree required with excellent academic credentials.
- 3-5 years administrative experience in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment.
- Internet savvy plus a proven mastery of Office applications including Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook; Oracle expense report knowledge helpful, but not required.
- Strong organizational skills and detail oriented.
- Ability to work independently with little or no direction, while still being able to exercise professional and timely judgment.
- Experience using the Internet as a daily research tool.
- Skill in managing multiple tasks effectively with frequent interruptions and work productively in a fast paced, rapidly growing organization.
